Rev. Bernardine Daniels
On July 1, 2009 the Yale United Methodist Church will welcome Rev. Dr. Bernardine Daniels as their new minister.
Rev. Daniels has been the pastor of Exousia and Faith United Methodist Churches in Oak Park, Michigan.
Rev. Daniels has conducted several workshops in Yale and elsewhere on such topics as: the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the power of prayer, increasing the depth of your personal walk with our Lord, etc. She was the featured minister and teacher at Bayshore Family Camp in both 2006 and 2007. She has been a contributor on the television program “Ask the Pastor”. Rev. Daniels is the founder and apostolic leader of the Soterios Ministry. A graduate of Cass Tech High School, she attended the University of Michigan graduating with a B.A. in Psychology. She completed her Master of Divinity at Wesley Theological Seminary in 1987 and her Doctorate from the International School of Ministry in 1998. Rev. Daniels was ordained Deacon (1997) and Elder (1999) by the United Methodist Church and also received her ordination of Prophet from the Christian International Network of Apostolic and Prophetic Ministries. She has written extensively on such topics as: The Healing Power of the Word; The Prayer Clinic;
Hearing the Voice of God; and In the Name of Jesus.
Rev. Daniels has two children: a daughter, Shekijah age 21 and a son Jerry who recently graduated from Cass Tech High School and is will be attending Western Michigan University in the fall.
