First Place for the Jesus Freaks! Posted On: July 20, 2010, 8:52 pmYale UMC's Street Ministry took 1st place in the 2010 Rotary International Day Parade in Port Huron with our Jesus Freak Float. We won $800 which will go to the feeding local families this holiday season. The Parade's theme was "Kids Rock". We got out close to 10,000 gospel tracts that day... and got to pray with some. God is Good. Special thanks to Steve Witt for the use of his trailer, Jill Harrington for creating our shirts and ALL the volunteers and band members! We will be attending the Bologna Festival Parade, and the Croswell Swinging Bridge Parade on August 7th.
